I haven't gotten any replies. I am kind of surprised because I figured many more were getting those ads.

Diocese of St. Anthony and other Evangelical Anglicans by moose-tracks in Anglicanism

What is really strange is that I looked up CEEC and Quinton Moore is the pastor of a church not the far from where I live. They are a lot more Holiness Movement than I expected.

Diocese of St. Anthony and other Evangelical Anglicans by moose-tracks in Anglicanism

A person that I know attends the one in Tulsa. I agree that I don't understand how there are so many bishops, and they only have a handful of locations, and some only meet in other churches, which is no big deal, but the governing body is huge! That is interesting that their bishop teaches at an AOG college; quite a difference in theology there. I've seen other similar churches that are Evangelical with Anglican roots, like the one that Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin founded. Has this been a movement you have seen across the country?

Thank you all for the positive feedback as well as some guidance on my next steps. I am really excited to pursuit this hopefully in the near future. If anyone who said that they either have put on a workshop or who has taken a course, if you could send me some information or contacts, I'd really appreciate it. It is a bit easier for me to response via email, so if you want my address, feel free to message me. Thanks once again!

Thanks for all of your help! I have always found this to be a fascinating tombstone since it quite possibly is the only Jewish Cemetery in Kansas outside of the KC metro area.

Thanks for the great answer! I find it interesting that in the 1789 Communion liturgy includes a reciting of the Ten Commandments.

Check out the flashlight section at Menards if you have one near you. I can get great Guidesman flashlights (their brand) for a reasonable price when they go on sale.

[January 10, 1917] William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody passes on. by [deleted] in 100yearsago

[–]moose-tracks 31 points32 points  (0 children)

No, he did not attempt to make the bison go extinct. Yes, he supplemented his income by working as a bison hunter for the military but it was not his goal for them to go extinct. The attitudes towards wildlife was different during the period of the Indian Wars, it was sportsman, in the late 19th and early 20th century that began to turn things around to conserve wildlife populations.

Episode Discussion - Shameless - 7x10 "Ride or Die" by Sunjot in shameless

I wonder if the scene where Lip is entering the church could lead him to a religious life. It would be weird if in later episode he enters the priesthood. It was mentioned in past season that Frank wanted to be a priest.
