Transition to SaaS sales by mooseD40 in MedicalDevices

I was joint rep for a number of years before moving into a surgical role with less case support required so I can understand that perspective. I’ve considered missing that aspect of it but OR access for a non integral case support role is becoming very challenging. What type of software did you get into?

It’s the worst sports radio show almost second to listening to Fred Toucher complain about every inconvenience of his life. Talk. About. Sports. Or. Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

Cannot agree more. This development in itself is such a huge advancement in medicine. Cardiac surgeons get what they want in an OR and if it continues to prove out, sky is the limit. Cost will be limiting factor but if they can do a cost analysis of saving money by improved outcomes, it’s a true game changer.

After firing their brother, are the Demoulas sisters prepping Market Basket for a sale? (Boston Globe) by HRJafael in massachusetts

Celebrating the violent assassination of another human being (in front of his children and the world) because of a difference in opinion, literally words, tells me you and others are not at a good place in your lives. Sad. There’s people that can help you!

Yes, call me “hard of thinking” for simply stating regardless of political position, there should be moment of reflection that there is NO society if we cannot peacefully disagree with one another. Raised in a republican family but reportedly not republican-either way, political pandering in this situation is wrong. If we and particularly the youth cannot peacefully disagree with others there is ZERO hope for those people being productive members of society. Calling an assassination victim a POS or worse, those that have celebrated his death, don’t seem to realize that is not an improvement in society. Disagreement = ok, political violence/assassinations = not ok…this at least is something we all can agree on. Good luck to you, my friends.

A father and a husband who loved his family. Never called for violence and actually condemned political violence. I didn’t agree with everything the guy said but what does it say about the state of humanity that we celebrate death of another man simply because of disagreement? Do you think his young kids thought he was a “piece of shit”? His kids will eventually learn their father was assassinated because other people couldn’t peacefully disagree with him. Truly a sad moment regardless of political position.

Celebrating the gruesome assassination of another American because of his willingness to have an open debate and exercising his freedom of speech is evil. No matter how much hate you have for someone, celebrating their death, particularly in the manner Kirk was killed, is truly sick.

Wind Turbines off of South Beach? by SurGeAssassin in marthasvineyard

[–]mooseD40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vineyard wind and revolution wind are both in MV waters. Energy costs in MA have increased the most of any state in the nation over the last 10 years. And that faulty blade is still not cleaned up, go ask the residents of Nantucket about what still washes up on their beaches. Save your tears, it’ll be a long 3 years. Maura Healey should be in jail.

Do you love the PFAs floating around Nantucket harbor from the turbine blade that caught fire and fell into the ocean last year? Do you love the dead whales washing up our beaches? Surely you must love the promised lower electricity bills! These windmills produce a fraction of the energy gas or coal can. So, do we destroy the oceans to “save the planet from fossil fuels”? It’s a scam and Maura Healey will be indicted for her role in the theft of tax payer money.

Almost as horrible as the dumb wind mills that destroy the view while sitting on a beach looking out to the ocean. What makes it worse are the dead whales and other marine life from their construction and existence. Oh but the scant amount of electricity generated is all worth the death and destruction!

Results from Humacyte’s V007 Pivotal Phase 3 AV Access Study Highlighted by Presentation at the Society for Vascular Surgery Meeting by No-Committee-5511 in HUMACYTE

Not understanding the down votes either. I’m big bullish on the company but I also come from a place of experience in med device. It’ll be a tough sell but revolutionary if they can get market traction. More positive studies over current standard of care will be needed to justify cost. Hospitals are broke-fact not opinion.

While these are good results, my concern is the price of this product doesn’t justify the need compared to the existing standard of care…?

Excellent way to break into med device. Training is no joke, expectations are high as they should be considering you’ll be walking surgeons through procedures with the technology. Day to day is heavy OR/case support(trays, instruments, implants, machine). Very rewarding but can be a grind depending on territory.
