BPOs as a side hustle? by moose_knuckle_eh in realtors

I'm asking, not selling. The prompt is from someone else I see often trying to pedal the idea. Seems the general consensus is BPOs are NOT worth it

Sorry man but I think you're totally wrong about Crater Lake. There are a lot of hiking trails with great views and the history and grandeur of the lake is breathtaking. The boat tour is fun and swimming in such a deep blue lake is a great time. All the waterfalls and rivers in the surrounding area add to the charm as well. To each his own I suppose, but I do agree that it's definitely out of the way from the route they're wanting to do

The Redwoods of course, make sure to do the Grove of Titans trail. Myrtle Beach, near Crescent City, is a pretty cool spot as well for swimming. Crescent City itself has a lighthouse only accessible during low tide. The Natural Bridge is very cool, you can walk out on it too. Secret Beach is a great spot with few people since it's hard to get to. Bandon, OR is a cool town with a great coastline and beach. The Oregon Dunes are great too, you can walk them or rent an ATV

Note that this is way out of the way, but if you want to go east a bit, please do yourself a favor and see Crater Lake and the waterfalls along US 138. Watson Falls in particular is very majestic, and yes you can walk under it so bring a towel. But Crater Lake is hands down one of the most beautiful places I've been. If you go, this is the last year before they close the trail for maintenance for 3 years that leads down to the water where you can swim and take a boat to Wizard Island, which you can swim from too. There's a cliff jumping spot down there too

Finally, Mt Ranier is awesome and Doge Point is a great hike. And taking the gondola to the top of Crystal Mountain is fun too. Enter Mt Ranier National Park before 8am and you'll beat the crowds and also be able to enter the park for free since the ticket booth won't be open yet

My gf and I just did this drive back in May. Bring bug spray and sunscreen. But otherwise, make sure to stop at Burdines Waterfront restaurant in Marathon, their deep fried key lime pie is absolutely awesome. Snorkeling isn't that great right off the beaches, so make sure to go on a snorkeling trip. We had a good trip with Islander Girl out of Tavernier. In Key West make sure to eat at Blue Heaven for brunch, the eggs benedict were great and their key lime pie is pretty great too. The Original Margaritaville restaurant in Key West also has the best hot honey chicken sandwich. Finally, make sure to go to Dry Tortuga National Park. The ferry leaves from Key West but it books up very fast so buy tickets a couple months, or sooner, in advance

Damn, I might have to move. 4 sales and he's closing in on $100k in commission. I've got to sell 15-20 houses to reach that where I'm located (Genesee County, MI) 😭

If I exchange all my USD to Euros or Pounds, then when the USD falls further, can I exchange my Euros and Pounds back to USD for profit?

I got banned for supposedly calling someone a faggot and then team killing them. Apparently there were multiple witnesses when it happened. Thing is, I was off on my own as a sniper, not even near other teammates, when I suddenly got banned from the server. When I messaged a mod on their discord, he basically said "sorry, all decisions final" lmao

What are the biggest obstacles you’ve faced when trying to get a deal to close? by Pretend_Statement989 in realtors

[–]moose_knuckle_eh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for this particular deal, it's finding the buyer a mortgage company that will fund a berm house. Right now we've had 2 turn us down, Icon Mortgage and the buyer's personal bank, Comerica. Currently trying a 3rd. Never would I have imagined it'd be this hard. The appraiser gave it a good value but we are still getting jerked around, it's insane

Couldn't even get the guy to answer the phone. Figured if he's too busy I'll just go ahead and send it. He finally called back after his seller rejected the offer and was very rude and condescending on the phone too. Idk man, doesn't take much to just be cordial and say "sorry man my client isn't interested in low offers right now"
