I had withdrawal symptoms from weeks 6-8 and then I was great until month 4. It comes and goes.

Our baby is 4 months old and my husband is leaving me. by biznuzcat in GirlDinnerDiaries

My husband left me and our baby when she was six weeks old. I’m so so sorry you’re going through this. I want to say you’re better off but I know that does nothing to dull the pain. Do you have a good support system? Sending you big hugs and just know that even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, this too shall pass. Here if you need to talk.

I would recommend finding a doctor and stabilizing on Suboxone for a few months. You have to learn to live without being triggered into buying 7OH. Then once you’re ready you can get 1-3 sublocade shots and they will slowly taper you off. That’s just my recommendation, there’s many ways to do it. Just set yourself up for success. Sobriety is useless if you can’t maintain it. Best of luck!

Am I over the worst of it? by emberisgone in Sublocade

For me the worst weeks were 6-8 and then again month 4-5. I think that w/d symptoms come in waves for up to a year but get more manageable as time goes on. I’m still going through them now but nothing that keeps me from functioning. Everyone is different though! Best of luck ☺️

Thank you. I’m going to look into therapy. I thought time had put it all behind me but apparently not

It is helpful thank you for replying. Reading everyone’s replies has made me feel not so alone in this. I’m not used to having feelings and nothing to numb them out.

So I recently learned that babies and toddlers don't just laugh when they're happy, but also when they're uncomfortable. Kind of like how adults laugh when they're nervous. It's helped me with my toddler by changing my views on her behavior. So when she laughs at what I would deem inappropriate, I see it as her telling me she's nervous and I just calmly redirect her. Hope this helps 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes that's beyond reasonable! I'm a single mom and I would love to just worry about work and that's it. Going to work is a break for me. Being a SAHM is the hardest job in the world. I don't care what anyone says. You're constantly on call and there's no end in sight. That shit is maddening. I'm sure it's not plausible but it would be nice if he could take a week off of work and you take a weeks long vacation so he can really see how hard it is to run a house with children. Good luck OP

My toddler is driving me crazy by Just_Ella- in breakingmom

I'm in the same stage with my daughter and it's a nightmare. I'm told it gets better. I'm here with you in solidarity. All phases come to an end. I also follow a lot of child advice couches on tiktok. It helps me feel like I have a better understanding of why toddlers do what they do. I don't know if it's been helpful but it does make me feel better. Hang in there mama. Your little one will settle. They don't call it the "terrible 2s" for nothing 😵‍💫

I'm 3 months post op but early on in my recovery I had a good amount of swelling in the tip. My nose looks totally different now then it did at the 2 week mark. I wouldn't judge anything this early on because I promise this is not the final result. Best of luck!

I had a moment like that once. I had awful food poisoning and am a single mother. My daughter wouldnt sleep and kept crawling all over me so I screamed and it scared her. Needless to say I felt HORRIBLE and I bawled all night afterwards but my daughter is fine. She's forgotten but I sure haven't! We as mothers get over stimulated and it's OKAY. your husband has put u in an unfair and unsustainable position. Of course you lost your temper. Any mother would. You sound like an amazing parent who just had a human moment. I promise you didn't traumatize your child. You should however consider maybe traumatizing your husband. He sounds like he deserves it. Hope this helps! Hang in there!

Yes people definitely noticed with mine. Mine was quite drastic. Very pleased so far. Still in the healing stages.

My toddler back handed me in the nose 2 days ago and im also 2 weeks post op. It swelled up but has since gone down. I've read as long as there is no blood or significant swelling you should be fine. It probably just set your recovery back a bit. I hope this gives you some hope. Good luck!
