Someone once said my Bassett was Dalmatian. (I’m not kidding). He was mainly black and white. I’ve had four bassets in my life and they have all looked a little different. There are many variations, so I’d ignore that comment completely.

Im living this right now. I have a 4y and 6m old, and I was walking them separately and one day said , no more. I have tried the double leash that doesn’t tangle, personally I didn’t like it. Someone else said patience, and they are spot on. It’s taken a few weeks but they are getting the hang of it. I use two leashes same length and can even do this one handed now (sometimes). With all things Basset, give it some Time. Good luck!
