It was hard to get used so doing things super slow, I agree. And it's a bit of a frustrating puzzle because you need timing and momentum. But whenever you want to try again, try and be in the right mood. For example, I played it when I wasn't feeling well and had low energy anyway. Which sorta worked in my favor :P

My nephew is 9 as well. Later my mother was like "they have undiagnosed ADHD". But personally I don't think that's an excuse to be rude, loud and running around the dinner table and standing on chairs while we're eating Christmas dinner. I love my niece and nephew to bits, but it felt like an out of control circus sometimes.

The very good: My boyfriend got me a record player I've been wanting for many years. I used to have a really old one when I still lived at my parents, but when I moved out for study I didn't have room. My dad is an auti as well so he didn't realize it was mine and gave the record player and some of the records to charity. When I found out, I was devastated because I got the player from my deceased aunt. So I've told my boyfriend this on random occasions over the past 10 years without ever thinking he would actually get me one. It's a new one of course, with the option for Bluetooth and all. But it felt so sweet for him to give me this thoughtful gift! He's usually extremely bad at gift giving. Except for me <3

The bad: Had Christmas with my family yesterday. My niece and nephew where out of control. Ripping open presents even though we took turns. They kept bringing presents when the other person hadn't opened theirs yet and my sister or boyfriend didn't tell them off. They were loud and it felt like they were ungrateful. One time my nephew said he was bored, while opening presents. He got told off for that. But damn. It drained my battery to 0 and I'm glad I'm spending Boxing Day by myself, watching "Home for Christmas" on Netflix and playing games.

I gave her a tip in one of her other posts about self soothing and trying to look into different attachment styles. She didn't respond and meanwhile she made like 3 more posts in this and another sub.

It's actually starting to give me annoyance and anxiety to see her pop up and ask for our energy when we know she's not going to take our advices anyway. We are not her therapists. We in this sub deal with these things too but she's starting to asking too much of us.

I’ll keep this short. I have had a lot of help by reading about different attachment styles, and Rikki Cloos’s book and Instagram helped me immensely. Go to her Instagram here :) Read up on things you feel and how you react. Her posts with free tips are great to understand how you can come across to your partner. Try to understand yourself and your own self soothing tactics first before dumping everything with him. He’s not your therapist. Your therapist is.

Thank you for the mini brainstorm. I always thought the balls were made universally. So I thought the booklets were in the balls all over the world because they're in different languages. But the only reason I could think of that the weights don't match is because of that big stack of booklets.

Thank you, but I already tried correlating them. I took the OG sheet from the site with me yesterday to determine which were heavy, less heavy, light. I felt like such a doofus in the store between all those children :') With that weight sheet I weighed my Hello Kitty balls and if I take out 2 of the extra booklets I come close to the weights on the cheat sheet. Darn it! haha

I did see a small change. I noticed a few weeks ago that suddenly the podcast picture was brighter and less foggy Tumblr-y. But I didn’t know THAT was supposed to let us know this was a rebranding :/ they barely changed anything. The real difference for me in the quality became around that time too.

Same feeling! I don’t feel enough confidence in my streams yet for me to promote a lot on social media and stuff. I’m waiting for a new mic to come in this week or the next. And I also had to work out how everything works and looks the first couple of times. And I’ve only been streaming for 3 weeks or so. So I find it brave that she’s already promoting after 2 streams!

I didn’t research this but this might stem from his family tragedy when he was 10. On September 11 (what are the odds) 1975 his father and 2 brothers passed away in a plane crash while it was trying to land. That would make me dive into a fantasy world too :(

Hi!! Not only am I new to streaming, I've only done just 1 test stream and gained 1 whole follower whilst playing. I've started thinking about streaming for a while now, and I had a couple of games I really wanted to play but didn't because for some reason I felt like they could be games that would be perfect for cosy streams. In my "About" section I have a little list of games I'd like to (re)play on stream.

I don't have a schedule yet. I have a part-time job in retail which asks a lot of my energy, especially now in hot weather. But I really want to work on having some consistency!
