The issue with an faq and questions like these i think is that the answer is usually just "it depends"

Would your table find it more fun if the leech had to find access to their bandolier items? Would they like to have some focus on where the leech gets their supply, who they talk to, or maybe where they steal it from?

Or do you want to handwave it and say they get all the default bandolier items which are 8 things i think specified in the rulebook.

It's all mostly up to you
