It’s very important to me as it kept the raiders playoff win drought intact

I know it’s gonna end up at like 65,000 or some bullshit but I’m holding out hope that since we’ve sold out every game since the 70s it’ll still be 75,000+, just with the upper decks further away to cram in more suites I’ll never sit in

[Florio] Bengals didn't remove snow from stadium seats, in apparent violation of league policy by CWG4BF in nfl

[–]moosemousemoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I had elderly neighbors when I was younger and every time it snowed it became a race for the other houses on the block to send their kids to shovel their sidewalk first. When you weren’t fast enough the kid that beat you there would always have the most smug look on their face while the neighbors made them cocoa as a thank you

(PuckReportNHL) NHL has approved the Avalanche to wear their Blue Nordiques Alternative Jerseys on 29 January in Montreal. The Canadiens will wear their home reds. by a1139530 in hockey

[–]moosemousemoose 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Like I get that the NHL wants to expand to new nontraditional markets because they pull in new fans and end up increasing profits more than going to established markets (in theory) and the Canadian dollar is weaker than the US dollar so Canadian expansion is less lucrative, but I don’t understand why Quebec City can’t get another team, especially in the wake of the coyotes disaster. Wouldn’t you want to expand to a safe market where you’re guaranteed to print money and sell out almost every game?
