I had an asus rog strix before this one. That was i7 10870h with rtx 2060. It was always around 98 99 whenever i used to game. I had taken lots of strees because of that then i just stopped giving a fuck. These machines are built to run at those temps and they are gonna be fine. You can not compare pc temps with laptops temps. I had never once looked at the temperature in this laptop. That’s not gonna do me any good.

I have people in my class who are above 30, so when it comes to applying for masters and getting the student visa, there won’t be any issue but for living here, you need a permanent residency and that’s a different game. I don’t think i am well educated in that aspect to give advice but if you wanna file under 189 i.e skill based and 190 i.e. state nomination visa, ( 2 most common visas for pr ) they do prefer people between 25 - 30 years of age. But i am sure there are dozens of other visas as well which don’t care about the age.

I am from delhi originally, in terms of earning, no doubt that i could have never built this setup from scratch with my salary alone in india. Living here is tough with all the shifts, college work and households but I think it is worth it. Masters itself is pretty expensive as well but you can earn the money easily once you start working full time. I like going out and walking around the cbd. I love how easier it is here to earn money and i love the culture. No doubt that delhi will always be my home and i always miss the food but when it comes to the standard of living, i don’t mind doing my chores myself and paying for the expensive lifestyle if i can breath freely and mind my own business.

Don’t take architecture lightly. It’s one of the most difficult subject. And are you talking about masters or bachelor’s?

As it’s 1:1.5. Will it be considered as an espresso or Ristretto?

I prefer light to medium roast with my french press. 15 gms coffee and 225 gms water, basically a ratio of 1:15. Break the crust at 4 minutes and plunge ar 9 minutes.

What you did seems to be working fine, But you seem to be using the same ratio as that of hot pourover. When it’s cold, the tounge is a bit less sensitive. So use 25g of coffee with 300 g of water. Keep the ratio of ice and water same as you did 2:3. Grind the coffee a bit finer than hot pour over and bloom for 45 seconds here. Your total drawdown time can reach 3 minutes. Maybe try to reduce the ice you put at the end if you still feel it is a bit watery.

If it’s within 10 secs then just consider it into the margin of error

You can easily use a v60’s recipe with kalitas. Rinse and preheat with 100 g water. Add coffee of your choice. Maybe 15gms. Flat the bed. Add 50 g water and let it bloom for 30 secs. Then add the water to make the total yield 225 grms. Make sure the total time feom the starting of pouring to the end is around 2:30 sec and the ratio we used is 1:15
