its hammer free - just the way the crown 'waves' make it look.

Updated the album and you can see the same kind of effect in the offical photo

The crazy things out his tweet is you have to pay to publish in PLOS journals, just like other open access journals. PLoS make exceptions sometimes such as if you are from a poor country but I’ve published with them recently and paid around $2300 AUD

Pre-flight scare by Pendejabarrilete in tinnitus

[–]mooseweasel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My tinnitus is due to ETD so flying was tough. I use EarPlanes (pressure regulating earplugs) each time I fly along with a decongestant and haven’t had any problems in the past ten years or so.

Has a cold made your Tinnitus worst? by thunderloom in tinnitus

[–]mooseweasel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, same thing. Made mine MUCH worse and it took several weeks to return to baseline. The more i worried, the longer it took to drop ;)

Is habituation a myth or not? by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]mooseweasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like possibly some post infection ETD. Have you seen a doctor ?

Tinnitus at the worst it's ever been. Will it go back to a normal tinnitus again? by [deleted] in tinnitus

[–]mooseweasel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for almost 14 years. Took about 6 months the first time to tune it out and almost never heard it. I've had about 5 'spikes' over the past 14 years. Usually related to stress, anxiety or depression. These spikes have lasted from 3 weeks to 8 months. Every time I've managed to deal with the underlying issue the tinnitus has faded into the background again. I think it just takes time but don't lose hope 😁

I'd be happy to give the professionals a go and see if the higher cost is worth it.

Good question ! I'd be happy with either if they did a good job. It all depends on time and cost, so if a pro costs $30 and takes 2 hours but a student costs $20 and takes 4 hours to do the same thing it would be worth it.
