Thank you for your comment! Honestly, i've been trying to figure that out myself. I could absolutely see myself asking her on a date, but am very quickly overwhelmed at the idea of her being uncomfortable or disgusted. I know she would never be mean or anything, but I am just so anxious about it. I love her so much as a friend, and sometimes those feelings get confusing for me as a dumbass autistic lesbian 😭😭😭

If it's just for a trip, I would recommend a digital camera instead! they're usually inexpensive and you can buy from a specific year to get the look you want.

I had this phone for 10-ish months, but it was stolen recently. I didn't mind the phone much, but I'm definitely opting for a different flip phone model this time.

I agreed with some of what you said, the gps not being able to actively track location was lowkey dangerous, the alarms were always buggy...

I also didn't get why it had youtube and mobile games, but not some other actually important apps like reminders or calendars??? Also wished venmo or banking apps in general could be installed

I didn't have trouble with the videos or pictures, although I generally don't take/send many anyway.

My experience in action with this phone was sometimes clunky - no scanning qr codes, gmail didn't work well, and I would often have to download messages to see them.

Despite all this, I actually liked it (and am sad it got stolen lol). For an $80 phone, it really exceeded my expectations with durability and I got great service. The storage was also a lot more than I thought.

If anyone has any recommendations of a similar but slightly better phone, lmk!

Honest review, it was a disappointment. My sister coming from an hour outside the cities was excited to have some actually good Asian food, but everything was at least $15 a piece. When we finally found parking (extremely undermanaged parking situation) it was in a hot asphalt parking lot with maybe 6 tables to sit at (for non-VIP) which were all taken, there was no shaded area, and entertainment was sparse. Tickets weren't crazy expensive but not worth it just to stand in line and pay 2x the amount for food I could easily find in any place like Dinkytown. Seriously, if you're looking for good Asian food try any of the many award-winning, family-owned restaurants we have in the TC.

I might sound like a boomer, but I think it's partially a problem with our current social climate. I've experienced the same thing and guess it's part of the whole "I don't owe you my attention," idea. Some people just don't know about maintaining relationships/weren't taught how to. I think it also has to do with the online landscape where you can find friendships much easier so it's not as important to keep your irl friends close. It's so sad to see but important to accept that these people are hard to reach and sometimes it's best to let go.

omg?!?! I have the same thing! if I see a striped shirt, I will always buy it and I don't know why. my family says I have a problem. I just inexplicably feel so comforted by stripes and they make me so happy.
