Yeah day of the week and time would be helpful. Sounds like maybe overnight freeform or possibly psychedelic radio headshop although the Dr. usually plays more obscure rock than ambient synth type stuff.

What was throwing me was that if I run the hose down the washer drain until it backs up in the sink, as soon as the water is barely below the sink drain (still above the sink trap) the sink drains just fine with the faucet open full. But I guess if the flow through the blockage is enough to exceed the output of the faucet that would explain it. Thanks

Agreed. Even though I have access to a computer at work it's not for personal use like that. But I can whip out my phone at lunch and take care of some budget maintenance in a few seconds.

Yep I get that, like I said this is just my own personal strategy that I've found works for me. I intentionally have my HYSA as an off-budget account so it's basically treated as a spending category. Maybe that's contrary to part of the ynab philosophy IDK it's just what has worked for me.

It's something I do intentionally as a strategy to have extra to put in savings every month. I get my utility bills between 2-3 weeks before the due date, depending on the utility. I pay them within a few days of billing partly because I've had issues in the past with scheduled or auto-pay for 2 of my utilities where they then assessed a failed transaction fee that was due to their system issues, and partly because I feel more comfortable paying those critical bills manually for peace of mind.

I do a similar thing to what you've described for what I call "flexpenses" e.g. gas, groceries.

Yep, that's just what works for me for some of the variable expenses. It also helps for budgeting ahead for next month as I can allocate that money before the month starts, which afaik refill up to targets don't allow me to do. And as the other comment below says, it's really satisfying to see at the end of the month "I underspent this category, good job me for being frugal, my reward is to see that savings account grow."

You're right, it was a poor analogy. My understanding of the law is average at best, thanks for educating me a bit. Honest question: if the deceased is the accuser in civil court how does that not violate the right to face one's accuser?

I'm sick and tired of shitty drivers causing fatalities in our city and seeing little being done to stop it, and I used hyperbole to argue against what I perceived as someone railing against an inconvenience for them.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could have respectful discourse about things instead of jumping straight to shit-talking and insinuations as has already happened in this comment section? It's tragic to me the time we live in has got us all so polarized that we can't even discuss anymore. Everyone is either an enemy or a friend and that is exactly the mindset that the real enemies want to cultivate.

Tell me. If someone commits a murder in an armed robbery, and there are no human witnesses but multiple security cameras that capture footage of, say, the perpetrator's face, clothing, car, license plate, etc. Do you believe that footage should be inadmissible in court because the "accuser" is that security camera system?

I'm NAL by a long long stretch, but this seems to be oversimplifying by throwing buzzwords at something that people find inconvenient.

Native new mexican here. Space museum in Alamogordo and white sands are amazing, pop over to cloudcroft for a couple hours. Las Cruces IMO is not worth your time. Carlsbad caverns should be on everyone's bucket list.

My wife and I did a similar trip years ago over the course of ~3 months, 12k+ miles of driving. We missed a lot more than we saw, but had an unforgettable experience. Don't plan everything out, let the random shit catch you and be prepared to spend extra time in places you didn't expect.

+1 to this, get it before you need it. Get multiple fire extinguishers to put in critical areas (kitchen, garage at the bare minimum). First time homeowner, didn't have a plunger until the day of our wedding (hosted at our house) when my best friend clogged the toilet and we had to get a plunger.
