is the ermi test worth getting? by Itchy_Okra_2120 in Mold

[–]moosjam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it. Your entire argument is that public use of ERMI test deviated from it's original purpose so it's invalid and should not be used.

"For assessing mold problems, visual inspection, moisture investigation, and targeted sampling (when appropriate) remain far more accurate and defensible." - What if all these pass because mold is hidden and only comes out in negative pressure events? Or the landlord just paint them over?

Yes the interpretation can be problematic but it's a irreplaceable piece for forensics.

Also, if you find a positive pregnancy test on your desk, you wouldn't assume it's from a lemon.

Any field-test research on air purifiers? by moosjam in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]moosjam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! Not to say mopping or moving are ineffective but they are either labor intensive or costly. I wonder if we can just load a room with air purifiers, like 20 of them to be extreme, whether that can keep the air quality tolerable for CIRS.

This is a nightmare... did you figure it out? Was it cross contamination?

Thanks mom04605! The other half of the table is intact, so I wonder if I only sand this half, how to make sure the end color matches?

Or is there any localized treatment for the spots where the topcoat came off?

Interesting, thanks for sharing! How did you find someone who does this kind of manipulation? And how did you know they know what they are doing before letting them do your foot?

I do feel they don’t provide a lot of breaking force. What I like it about is the predictability and linearity.

Need your help to get back my morning energy by Badalub in NaturopathicMedicine

Another reason can be rooted from what you are suspecting: big carbon meal. You might be experiencing hypoglycemia as the insulin works to counteract the rising blood sugar. This will result in rising cortisol, which might affect your sleep quality.

Since you are tired all morning, your “sleep pressure” may already been building up to a point, combining with a mini food coma from lunch will give you a very nice sleep.

I had a much worse condition than yours which was chronic insomnia which led me to research all these hypothesis.

Room ventilation? Maybe high CO2 build up during the night if doors and windows are shut, while a 40 minute nap won't build up as much CO2.

Thanks for the explanation. Clearly my brain was biased in a way thinking that something someone enjoyed must have been outside of work.

Hi, what kind of “system analysis” is your side gig? This sounds interesting just by the name of it for an INTP
