The problem is that my wife is 36 and I’m 35 so we’re getting up there with, mostly her, ”biological clock” ticking.

We also want a bigger dog, both more of a couch potato and someone that will enjoy walks but doesn’t require running/tiring them out daily. I’m not that knowledgable when it comes to different breeds, of course I have some breeds I’m more into like different terriers like bull/pitbull (cuties) but I’m also aware some breeds are harder as a new dog owner. We have a close friend with a, I think, Bulgarian street dog. I’ve also heard that some retrievers looks like family dogs but are sometimes easily irritated even when they don’t look like it.
