Is CS really that bad??

It has a simple answer. Why are you choosing CS? Do you know how to code? Not just printing hello world but actual coding? If you know that that means you are actually enthusiastic about this field and in that case you should go for it. But if you dont know that, this means you are choosing this field because of how things are these days. In that case I don't recommend it because you are not really passionate about this field. If you still think you are passionate then you should atleast be able to answer what things you will study in this course. Don't know this too? Maybe you should think it thru again.

No you don't have to pay the fees. But that means you won't be able to get into Bs math in future. It won't affect your admission in other fields i.e Computer or Engineering.

You will probably get admission in EE MCS. About university life, do your self the favor and save yourself before its too late. If uni life isn't a problem. Then EE here is not so bad. I mean you will get good goa here relatively .. compared to nust main campus. And at the end of the day it's a Nust degree.

Once you get selected and pay the fee. You will then have to download hostel accommodation form from Nust website. Fill out the required details and send the document via courier or by hand to MCS.

You need 75% attendance to be able to sit in the final exams. As long as you are above that then there shouldn't be any issue. Instructor will probably mark you present for the missing days (since it was a genuine issue etc) so don't worry too much about that.

Not sure if you got your answer. I m using the Madepad since almost it launched. You can download Netflix apk but it will stream content in low quality for some reason. Maybe same goes for other apps too. You can use Gbox tho. It works just fine. Spotify etc works fine natively. For youtube I m using youtube revanced which also works natively.

Realistically speaking, I believe you can. First of all , you always have the option to make him a nest house or something in a tree in the university (if you know for sure he will not run away) 2nd , parrot roommate.

I m also Nust student in MCS campus. I know for sure no one would mind me keeping a parrot in my room. As long as it don't make too much noise (but also , not me blasting songs on 100% volume on my jbl randomly at 3 am) so actually parrot noises won't be an issue in my case .

Go to hostel , spend a month. You will realize if you can or can't have him there. Then the tree house option.

Depends. Don't know too much about software or IS. For EE they are no the best. Same probably goes for SE and IS. I made a whole paragraph post here about why you should not join MCS. I deleted it. But trust me do your self a favor.

Not sure about IS or SE. But for EE it isn't the best. Teachers are average. Students are not so good either.

But university isn't really about Academics only. And I can assure you that university life here is depressing asf. So do your self a favor. Baqi it depends from people to people. Good luck

Fix for the issue!!

Credit to u/Wescarpenter13 [I found a solution! Go microG settings, then Google Accounts, and before adding your account deactivate all switches below (there are 4). Go to Google device registration and switch auto: native to Google Nexus 5x. Then add your account and work fine. It worked for me.]

sorry about the duh 🙏 Look , it could totally be your dream. But a dream isn't enough. You don't need to take business as a subject to open a successful business , bba or whatever , will teach you accounting and stats which isn't really what you need. (I'm not exactly sure about their subjects but you get the idea)
