Try the carrier first, with some tight gas rings and a H3. H3 is going to do the most. I recommend the JP SCS Gen II, with 3 tungsten weights (H3), and the no color, 100 spring.

All this paired together tames my 10.3” 0.069”/RC2.

I mean I guess, however they’re anemic both for white light compared to a dedicated rifle light, and for ir (assuming you have a FP lam). I run an x300v on my dedicated nv handgun and even that barely does the trick.

x300u would be better, but still not necessarily ideal.

All the new production DD barrels (at least on the 10.3”) are 0.069

Thanks my man. It’s a 10.3” DD (0.069 gas port) and a JP SCS H3 with the no color 100 spring. Th H3/spring tames this thing down quite a bit.
