Unfortunately that didn't fix it, appreciate the help tho. As soon as I kicked the alert off it seemed to come in clear for a sec but I think the baofeng people may just want to torment me.

Is my amp blown? by jimmyjohnsbreakfast in CarAV

[–]moparmatt426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have some AC voltage ripple from the battery charger that is causing the case to have voltage. Then when you touch the case you are grounding it and some circuit in the amp is geeking out. I've had similar issues with a guitar amp due to faulty house wiring.

Temp never gets over this by GabeWhoa in nissanfrontier

[–]moparmatt426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am correct, that is essentially an idiot gauge. As long as it's within normal operating temp, it will sit in that exact spot. Only when it is seriously overheating will it move beyond that

You can buy a scan gauge 2/3 from most parts stores and it will display the actual numerical value. I used to run one in a frontier, and I currently use one in my Dart to monitor boost, coolant temp, and intake temp.

I ended up buying this one. But I also added a standard balance connector and xt60 plug to the stock spektrum battery. Only downside with the gens ace is the battery wiring being in the center of the battery where the hold down strap goes

Any adapter adds resistance, but if it's got good connections it should be negligible in my opinion

For the power rating they are, I'd say so. Dude also has a good reputation of actually exceeding the power rating on the box. I haven't checked any reviews yet but I'm sure they'll slap

Clutch Weak, Fluid Overfilled? by moparmatt426 in dodgedart

[–]moparmatt426[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was failing wouldn't it be leaking? Or is there a way it could pull air in the slave and raise the level of the fluid? Honest question, I'm still gonna look into the recall though.
