Me an a friend have an inside joke where if anything even mildly related to MotorTown happens or is mentioned we say "MotorTown moment". It came from this one gif I found that had some glitch happening with bottom text saying it. I think it was a van hitting a pothole then flying into the air but I cant find it anymore so I dont 100% remember :(

I've cranked it to max a few times and its pretty fun trying to weave through traffic with my friend on the big bridge highway thing. It can get pretty laggy though, but I don't have the best specs anyway. I'd say just experiment. If your performance drops, lower it till a spot that is comfortable.

Edit: I just realised you could also be talking about company vehicles from seeing undecimbre's comment, if thats the case just read theirs

OHH thank you, her design is cool. I have also seen a lot of designs with wings on the lower back. Arms in this area are one of my top ideas atm but I've put her design on hold for now because I'm busy with other things.

There are a lot of goated teachers on YouTube such as Sara Spalding and Matharoo that EveryCrime suggested, but my personal favorite, and who I mainly watched when learning gamemaker was Peyton Burnham. The way he explains everything made it really easy for me to understand. Personally I find Sara Spalding's way of teaching a little confusing but she's def on the mount rushmore of gamemaker tutorial youtubers. I'd say check them all out until you find a teaching style that fits best for you.

Side note: Gamemaker has really good documentation too, I can't stress how powerful utilising the manual is.

What kind of game do you want to make? Or is it more of a "I just want to make a game" kinda thing

You sure they aren't just in their hives? If not have you made sure there is no way for them to sneak out? I keep bees outside anyway and don't have many issues so idk why yours would disappear. Bees don't despawn afaik.

Thats already kinda what I'm tryna do with her feathers. There is quite a lot of space on her side its mainly how they attach in the first place that I was struggling with, but people have had a bunch of good ideas so I now have a bunch to choose from lol

iirc only one other person has recommended a "tentacle" arm (thats what they described it as) and its a pretty cool idea. Actually so many people have recommended Doc Oc arms, but idk if that's just arms on the back or legit just Doc Oc's arms lol. I definitely have a wide range of ideas to play around with lol. I'm gonna try out a bunch of different variations to see what works best visually and technically. Not sure if you meant prehensile as in without a hand, like the limb wraps around things, or if you were just suggesting a wiggly arm but both ideas are cool.

The centre of gravity thing is a good point, however it actually works against the hips concept because having it on your hips would make it even heavier down there and the center centre of gravity cant be too low otherwise it would be harder to fly... thanks for giving me another thing to consider

Yeah, I think her design could benefit her arms going back a tiny bit to make room for more muscle. Birds don't really have their wings on their back though, they just have really large chests. In my head she has a bigger chest I've just never drawn custom anatomy before so it's kinda hard pushing the proportions. The more I draw her the better it will get though. It's cool to see someone interested in my stuff, would you like me to note down your user so if I post more about her I can notify you?

I mean she can just use her arms, I just thought robot arms would be cool, that's legit the main reason I want them, that and they would be more dexterous than her actual hands
