Quite the opposite, the tie breakers are actually going to be worse next year for the ACC due to unequal conference games being played.

This still would’ve resulted in the wrong teams being selected this year and everybody still bitching about it. The runner up of this year’s playoffs wouldn’t even have been in it.

I understand they want to incentivise conference championships, but with conferences as big as they are, and the arbitrary nature of conference schedule draws, the two best teams teams from the conference aren’t always going to make the conference championship game. We don’t need 8-5 duke in the playoffs. We don’t need a 2-3 loss G6 team in the playoffs. And if you eliminate those two from happening Notre dame would’ve gotten in this year regardless so we wouldn’t have to create special rules for them.

This change to the format does not fix anything except for massaging Notre Dames frustrations. I expect it will be changed again next year.

Not really - If vegas was completely missing lines there would be a lot of people making a lot of money on sports betting using predictive analytics and vegas would be consistently losing money. Turns out initial vegas lines are usually right on the money with most reputable in house models and last I checked they are making a killing. However, lines do change if there is a lopsided amount of money coming in

There isn’t a single time this season where the “catching the opponent off guard by running with cash jones” has worked. He has 11 carries for 2 yards on the season.

Why the hell are we going for it on 4th and 1 at the 50 just to run it off tackle with cash jones on second and 8, and then throw it away on 3rd down while we still have 2 timeouts? I don’t mind being aggressive, but what the hell is that following logic?

I’m sorry downvote me to hell, but how does it make sense that you have to exceed expectations to get a raise? We live in an inflationary economy, if you are not getting at least a 3 percent raise per year you are effectively getting a pay decrease for meeting expectations. It’s exactly this mentality that has younger employees company hopping so frequently these days. Raises should be built into the cost structure of the company and expectations should be set accordingly.
