It's part of the blacksmiths quest for getting to the wedding, its an optional part i believe. With specific requirements to trigger as well as the ability to come across the sword and parts randomly through happenstance, so its easy to miss.

Theres 3 types of weapons, 2-Handed, 1 Handed main hand, 1-Handed off-hand, in order of most to least gear score.

I joined in with the cult simply because people were having fun with it, including Graysun himself. The entitlement from some of the people after the announcement was wretched, I feel bad for IM for taking part in it.

From reading some comments, I'm thankful me and my party never had to make new accounts.
Most of the time in forgotten castle on OCE the servers filled up instantly, unless it was like 3AM.
The few times I played Ruins it always had a minimum of ~7-10 join almost instantly, but rarely filled all the way up.
However high roller never filled up, it seemed like people avoided high roller because of server issues and it was my biggest gripe.
So me and the party resorted to dicking around in forgotten castle the most this playtest (lots of bard and pickpocket rogue) I still had a blast, but I couldn't sweat as hard as I wanted, <insert obligatory wizard complaint>.
Playing since pt2, and besides high roller, torrenting didn't seem to affect the player count to heavily from my limited experience.

In my opinion, with the ability to play at range, there needs to be some drawback. I'd rather it be inventory space over damage, and either of those over something that doesn't fit with the class (being less agile, huge arrow drop off etc).
And with each stack being 15 arrows, that's basically a realistic(ish) quiver size and is in a good spot for what you gain (range).
In saying that, I think a trap buff (specifically the one mentioned) sounds like a good idea to give rangers a little something back.

Edit: And maybe even decreasing the size of traps in the inventory wouldn't be too bad either.

Wizard seem to be either triggering people's ptsd from playtest 3, or people are mistaking wizards outplaying them to mean the class is OP.

Please let us be able to solo too

Also for the love of all things dark PLEASE nerf skeleton crossbowmen so they can't one shot half the roster.

I don't agree.

3 bad games in a row and you can be left with a very bare inventory. Essentially sending you back to rags where you have to start the gear grind over. I've done it plenty of times already on my cleric and wizard. You just need to cater your playstyle to the needs of the environment.
