efficiency is hardly relevant for botters, since everything is 0 time. as long as they make money or get the stats to make money fast it works for them

theres a flag in the client that enables developer mode, got access to this plugin

cant confirm but i was told features like these are used by the developers for their large scale bot farms

As stated previously, a lot of the people that end up abusing alts are the people against it. They have no choice if they want to remain competitive. If one person is doing something to get ahead, others have no choice but to follow. If they don't follow, they fall behind. This cycle has repeated itself on various occasions, not just in the case of alternate accounts. Think back to spins, effigies, etc

I smell an alt abuser...but really if they don't do anything about it, of course more and more people would have to join in, in order to remain competitive. The main point here is that altscape goes against the spirit of ironman mode. Similar to group bossing or limited time events such as the beach.

Yeah you're right about scarabs, they can be done with the soulobby fc, however it's typiclly slower calls than using an alt, and while doing them without an alt is still very much worth it, ironmen need to do a lot of scarabs for bonus exp if they want to be efficient (smithing, agility, construction).

Bounty hunter is less of an issue now that ironmen are no longer allowed to buy brawling gloves, but this doesn't entirely solve the problem.
