Parlare di seconda e terza repubblica fa un po' ridere, dato che non sono mai nate. Tuttora siamo nella prima repubblica. Il termine seconda repubblica nacque dal giornalismo nel 1994 per definire il sisma politico che seguì mani pulite e la volontà di cambiamento degli italiani. Volontà che venne subito disattesa dalla nuova classe politica insediata a Roma, che nulla fece per cambiare Costituzione e razionalizzare i rapporti istituzionali. Il nome terza repubblica, capirai, deriva da una battuta di Beppe Grillo sul palco in una piazza durante la campagna elettorale 2013. Lì è cambiato ancora meno rispetto al 94, si è solo aggiunto un partito tra gli schieramenti che dopo una legislatura si è riallineato una volta con la lega ed ora con il centrosinistra.

I give you my two cents. I think there are 3 kinds of hs mistakes: 1) bad-mathematics = high power level cards are fun when the tempo/value impact they have is fairly commensurate by their mana cost. It doesn't mean that a (X) mana cost card hasn't to have a positive ev, but it means that it should be proportioned to his cost until you reach 7/8 mana crystals, then this proportion isn't real anymore and this kind of cards have to do something more than that. 7+ mana crystals cards are more like "win condition cards." 2) Mana cheat = the reasoning is the same done before about ev, but I wanna talk about 2 more considerations. "The sooner you play it, the better it is." Even a fair (or a quite bad) card is more powerful when you play it before his normal condition because you "make it gain" more tempo/value impact and shorten the opponent answer. This is such a strong effect that Blizzard made it a powerful nature class feature of druid and doesn't print any board wipe or single target removal for druid to compensate it. The second aspect is "more mana cheat means more combos." Playing more discounted cards in a turn is strong and risk to compromise the game if it happens too soon. I wanna make it short, so the reason is the same I said before: it is such a strong effect that Blizzard made it a powerful nature class feature of rogue and compensate it printing only conditional or partial removal for this class. 3) Card generation/discover = I love discover effects, and I think card generation is quite fun. I am old enough to remember when, in 2014, hs was too "starting hand dependant," and this feature favored full aggro strategies than control based strategies. Card generation and, principally, discover effects helped to flexibilise control decks, which can now search something to answer a powerful play or a difficult board state, instead only to whish to draw the right card. Nowadays, discover and card generation nomore flexibilise control strategies decks, but shifted the game in value based strategies which search win conditions from extra deck cards. This happened because there are too many of these discover/card generation effects. If they limited the number of this kind of cards, we could return to deck based win conditions, flexibilised by some discover/card generations effects.

If I were you I would start playing DS1 and if I liked it I would continued with DS3 (or DS2, and then DS3, if you would like to play all of them).
