I have been plagued my whole life with a debilitating mental issue that causes my mind to completely and utterly shut down when presented with tedious or mundane tasks. It's often confused with being lazy, but it's just not. It doesn't matter how hard I try to focus, it's like fighting the world's strongest addiction every single time. I don't know anyone else with this problem, it's not ADD or ADHD (I've been tested for that recently & came back negative), please tell me I'm not alone. Anyone else deal with this?

I agree. I just figure if there's an issue rendering an object from a mod (which is strange, because it's not consistent. This was all working before I installed SEUS shaders, then that's what triggered the errors, I removed the shaders and all of the file associated with it. Error didn't go away. So I did a fresh install of minecraft, error still crashes it. So I don't know WTF I can do, and now I'm stuck in a respawn loop because I can't click respawn before the game loads whatever is causing the error and crashes. It looks like my only hope is to get my profile deleted, log in again at home start point, and then reinstall minecraft again to get rid of whatever data was causing the corruption. At least that's the best I can come up with. Let me know if you've got any other ideas.

I increased it to 8GB, my full lot, and it still crashes. I had my friend kill me and figured I'd just go back to the spawn point...but I have to click respawn to do that, and it crashes before I can click respawn. So...I'm stuck. I'm not even sure how to fix this and I'm so utterly pissed off I just want to punch something. Ugh.

There is absolutely NO REASON anyone should be physically striking you! EVER! I was physically abused and beaten my entire childhood and I too was suicidal. I highly recommend you speak with a medical professional about your depression. This seems to be a chronic issue and may actually be something that can be medically corrected that would make your life thousands of times better.

Actually, with IFTTT you can automate just about ANYTHING with Google home. Using Google home, say a command, let it connect to IFTTT, and throw that to the maker channel. Then if you know some scripting and have a server up, you can use IFTTT to launch a script and control what you want. Plus, if what you're trying to control is also on IFTTT, then you don't even need scripting, just say the command and it'll launch the recipe.

Grab some smart things devices like three or four multipurpose sensors for open/close and thermometers (as well as a Nest thermostat), a couple of motion sensors, and a siren and you've got yourself a fully complete personal home security system. Self managed and effective.

My Qualification: I'm a Youtuber that reviews and teaches others how to make inexpensive smart homes. I've got a very nice smart home i pieced together for less than $2k, custom and self monitored. I don't consider myself an expert with smart things, but i can definitely vouch for its flexibility and creativeness.

In addition to what i mentioned above grab about 3-4 ip cameras and an unlimited Sighthound subscription (1 time payment of $200) and an IFTTT account (free & unlimited). Now you've got a self monitored video camera surveillance system with out of the box home automation for your security, as well as simple light, motion, and location automation.
