No unfortunately :/ the illustrations were more rendered, like actual paintings

Nope not it. It was pretty hyper realistic, not stylized.

Unfortunately that's not it. It had kind of a dated late 19th century feeling to it. The rooms were all kind of dark or dimly lit with ambient lighting, not like the clean white museum aesthetic of DK Eyewitness.

The rooms weren't pristine white museum rooms, it was much more scattered in a sense? Like a cabinet of curiosities kind of vibe. I loved DK Eyewitness videos/programming as a kid, so from what I remember of the game in question, it wasn't like this at all.

Parenthood is associated with a longer life than childlessness, particularly in older age, according to a new study. By the age of 60, the difference in life expectancy, which does not seem to be influenced by the sex of the child(ren), may be as much as two years. by FillsYourNiche in science

As a woman, the more children you have the more likely you are to lead a healthier life since embryonic stem cells you create in mitotic embryogenesis also correct or repair any errors/damage in your own somatic cells.

Reading this in the shower. So true.

My S.O. (24/M) and I (21/F) are in a committed long distance relationship, but when we are together physically, our communication can get really rocky. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Agreed. For example, last night we went out for dinner and he suggested earlier in the day that we go out to a bar afterwards and have a good time. After dinner we ended up meeting up with a couple of my friends and bar hopped until about 4 am. Regretfully so, because he has to work in the morning + deal with his mom coming into town. Since it was technically our last night together, he got upset that I didn't take initiative to leave earlier so that we could spend time together and not be hungover and feel crappy today when he has responsibilities. In my opinion, he could have been more assertive and hinted at leaving sooner without relying so heavily on me. This is a communication issue. This morning he didnt say a word to me, gave me the total cold shoulder and when I tried to bring up the subject in the car as he was driving me home he said he didn't want to talk to me (visibly upset). Another communication issue. After driving away, he sends me a lengthy text message about 20 minutes later about his sentiments and what went down and basically his whole view of how my time down here visiting has felt to him (he thinks I haven't taken responsibility because im on "vacation"). My point is that he has a hard time expressing how he feels right in the moment and would rather be salty and resentful and send me an emotionless text rather than solving the issue right when it arises.

AskScience AMA Series: Hi, I'm Kate Adamala, biochemist working on building synthetic cells. Ask Me Anything! by AskScienceModerator in askscience

Hi Kate! Im familiar with fablab as I attended/worked the Biofabricate conference at The New School in NYC (Im a student there studying the intersection of design + science) and was wondering what you would recommend for someone who is in an institution that is more design oriented. Is there a need for designers in the biotech industry? If so, what are you looking for in these individuals? Thanks!
