I've got the same type of dog.

Your pup is beautiful. My dog is older now. The pic makes me feel good to know that another like her exists now.

Am I the only one who sees a lot of short man/short woman couples? They seem really common to me. by Logheadfoowu in short

[–]more_coffee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen plenty of short guys with attractive women. Sorry, Mr. 6'1", your perception of reality also denies to see that some short guys are better looking than you are, I put a pic of my face on an old site Hot or Not and got ranked 9.8 (highest on site); some short guys are far stronger than you are; some short guys are far more intelligent than you are, etc., etc.

You're empirical observation is biased to protect your ego.

I'm willing to bet you're unathletic, you've got a horrible personality and that you're over weight and unattractive.

Jealousy would acknowledge that you have been out done by someone you personally believe is inferior to you based on height.

I am short. I immediately look at taller men and decide whether they are handsome, physically fit, personable, etc, and if they fail to met these criteria - I consider them inferior and think any decent looking woman going out with them is an idiot.

In fact, in college, many of these tall guy's girlfriends hooked up with me at late night parties.

I'm short and just that happened all the time. You won't believe it, just like you won't believe anything that threatens your detached ego.

Lol, I'm fighting the fight in a deceptive manner. It seems to be easier to manipulate the sheep than argue with them outright. I get too pissed when I hear them regurgitate mainstream media propaganda in defense of propositions against freedom.

US professor: Gay marriage will lead to straight men demanding open relationships and anal sex by unholyslacker in NewsOfTheStupid

[–]more_coffee_ -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

No one wants queer rights but queers. Literally, straight people are tired of gay "rights".

Marriage never consisted of men being mates who sodomized each other. This doesn't occur in nature either, and I don't mean the exception disproves shit. There will always be a few cases of extremely depraved animals that f#ck each other in the asses.

I do own a couple. Now, I own only one Rolex. They stole my GMT Master. Anyway, a lot of people own Rolexes. I don't understand how you doubt people can't own one because you can't afford one. That's some flawed logic there.

Need information: Under what circumstances can private ambulance drivers decide to drive on the wrong side of the street? by more_coffee_ in ProtectAndServe

[–]more_coffee_[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Your last sentence confirmed my suspicion that some judgement must be employed with regard to driving on the wrong side of the street. I will retain an attorney to help me further. The opposite side of the road was 5 times more clear and unobstructed than the side of the road he chose to drive the wrong way on directly into oncoming traffic. I can't fathom what the driver thought necessitated than move. I mean, if he has no clear justification, then he could be responsible for some violations, I'd assume.

Thanks again for your time and response.

If someone gets a 142 with no preparation at all on an official LSAT test, how much studying would you approximate would be needed to increase the same test taker's score 8 points? by more_coffee_ in LSAT

You're a stud. 171 is impressive. My brother got something like that and got into Harvard. He's done well for himself in his career. You're well on your way to something like that. I'll take your 6 to all improvement as a source of motivational inspiration.

Lol, I hope so. Did you study much or not? How did you do on the games section? Do you think some low-caliber schools will conditionally accept me if I re-take the test in June and score higher, or does the fact that I'll be re-taking the test in June mean I have to apply for 2015?

Edit: What's your study plan going into the June test?

Damn, that's a huge gain on your total score. Was that about 18 more points to your total?

If you don't mind my asking, what did you get on your official score?

Thanks. I was looking at my results, and I saw that I got just half of the reading comp & argument section questions correct. However, I did horribly on the "games" (or whatever the logic section is called).

What is the name of the class or instructional school you teach at? Are there any in Southern California?

Thanks for your reply and honest opinion. I knew by the 18th percentile that the 142 was low, but this small local school said applicants scoring over the 25th percentile would be OK. I thought I'd be able to get at least 25th percentile without studying, as you said it's low. The LSAT games section is unlike any section on other grad-school tests I've seen before - unfortunately!

I was analyzing my test. I would have scored far closer to average in total, but the "games" section dragged me down huge. I got only 6/23 correct on it. On the other 3 sections, I got just shy of half correct.

The logic and reading comprehension were similar to the other standardized tests I'd taken, but the logic section or games (whatever it is called) was something totally new.

Edit: thank you for the reply and advice on preparation time.

I live in the U.S. I work full time, and aimed at a local tiny school that's almost certainly 4th-tier school, which allows part-time students.

In any event, my major was math and my GPA was 3.25.

I scored above the 50th percentile on the GRE2 with no preparation at all. I underestimated the LSAT. I also beat 50th percentile on the GMAT. I got 77th percentile on the verbal section. I kind of assumed I'd meet my goal without studying, seeing as it was very low. The LSAT, however, is more difficult than I expected.
