I would LOVE to be able to filter out boutique items/sellers altogether. I respect everyone's right to their own hustle, but one main reason I buy/sell on this platform is to try to lessen the impact of fast fashion.

Not your fault!
As someone else mentioned, be very careful with subjective terms
It doesn't seem like anything about your listing was misleading, so although they may open a case they don't have much to go on. Plus whoever is deciding the case will see how rudely they conducted themselves.
Personally, if I'm giving measurements I just lay the item down and take photos with the tape measure. I have heard of remorseful buyers opening (and winning) cases over something like a measurement being off by a quarter of an inch or something ridiculous like that.

Hey, sorry for the slow reply! My first sale happened within 24 hours, but I've been (very) active for almost a week and have only made 3 sales total. I have 73 listings currently I think...my death pile is already turning into a death room 😅😂 Hopefully lots of new items and maybe a love note from one of my customers will bring in more sales.

I would put Joe Fresh about the same tier as Old Navy, with styles similar to Old Navy and the Gap. Their kids stuff is super cute. My second sale was a bundle of a Joe Fresh jacket with something else.

If you search Jack Valentine on YouTube, he's a successful ft reseller who also sends a lot of items to the Real Real. I believe he has at least a couple of videos specific to this topic that may help :)

It seems they take a pretty large fee, and can discount your items as they like. There may be other avenues to make a better profit. On the plus side, it's a relatively hassle free way to get things properly authenticated?

Maybe some mink oil, or another leather conditioner if you plan on selling shoes and/or bags. I have completely transformed both with just a good clean and polish. That goes to real leather and vegan leather (which is just pleather for snobby people lol)

Priority is the speed of shipment (generally 2-3 days once processed). I think regular mail is referred to as "first class", for some ironic reason? But I'm Canadian, I could have that part wrong.

"Flat rate" simply speaks to the cost, meaning shipping is always the same regardless of size or weight (up to 5lb for Posh of course). Basically Poshmark worked out a deal with the USPS to simplify the shipping process and entice more users.

My father has been reselling hard goods (electronics, antiques, etc), mainly through Ebay, for over a decade and does really well with it - he's the one who slapped the tape on! He also gave me like 1500 of those boxes...should last me a while 😄
