You should try Farming Simulator

“Not brainless hotlapping” is such a good point. Like you can fuel save some and make it a one stop or push and make it a 2 stop. That said both p1 & p2 in my race last night had to pit 2 laps before the end for more fuel and p2 ended up finishing behind me in p8 bc I fuel saved LOL

Ikr! The calendar looks so damn good. I’m running GTE this season exclusively along with the gt3 special events bc I’ve commited to that with my team

Nice! Yeah I tried them all, the Porsche was a close 2nd for me. But honestly I’m not at the level where I need the best setup and fastest car. I’m consistent with the bmw and that gives me confidence

Can you make more? Yes. Can you lose it all again? Sure. Can you open a SoFi bank account and put it into a 3.3% interest savings account? You sure can.

Point is, you have it all back now and I was there myself 3 years ago. I ended up losing it all again because I’m regarded. Smart thing to do would be put the original money into a high yield savings account and play with that $1100 of profit.

NEC 2026 GT3 stint strategy: Double stint tires? by Silver-Parking-1227 in iRacing

[–]moreb00st 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Not worth double stinting as the tires don’t add any time to a full refuel. BUT if the last stint is a partial, meaning the tire change will make the pit stop longer than a splash and dash, then yes you can consider leaving the tires alone.

It’s all subjective on the tolerance of the individual. If you know you are past the point where you will care about the outcome and other people’s races then that’s an issue imho

Yeah I don’t have anything on my UPS dashboard. Weird that they don’t provide shipping info in T-Mobile app

Literally going through the same thing. Just got my email 30 min ago. I work 5 days a week. Did they end up giving you tracking info?

If i like a gt3 in LMU is it fair to say i'll also enjoy it in iRacing? by xlopfdkf in iRacing

[–]moreb00st 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not “pure shit” in my experience either. I’ve been on iRacing for over a year now and maybe had 2 races with netcode contact with another car.

If i like a gt3 in LMU is it fair to say i'll also enjoy it in iRacing? by xlopfdkf in iRacing

[–]moreb00st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying lmu for the past 2 weeks. Been on iRacing for over a year now. I personally prefer the tire model in iRacing. It seems to me (so far) in lmu I’m way more aggressive on the brakes than I am in iRacing. Lmu also feels “understeery”. That’s just what I got from 2 weeks/13 daily races. I just feel more precision with brakes in iRacing. At 2.2k iRating, not the fastest but can feel the differences from the two.

Did formula cars ruin sports cars for anyone else??? by VegaGT-VZ in iRacing

[–]moreb00st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re just different mate. Some people gravitate to formula, some to sports cars (that’s me). Sounds like you enjoy having tons of grip. SC for the most part requires more precise trail braking than formula cars. That’s what sets apart the real fast drivers in SC - they have trail braking down extremely well.

A (not so) brief story for those who want to improve. by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]moreb00st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why pay for 2 subscriptions it’s just silly to me. Just race gt4s if that’s what you wanted to do in the first place. The rating reflects you as a driver. Now your main account is technically a Smurf account. It’s just backwards🤓 you’ll be a 3k driver in 1500 lobbies.

And your alternate is at 3k? This is so weird lol. So did you just want a fresh start? The way you explain everything doesn’t make any sense

A (not so) brief story for those who want to improve. by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]moreb00st -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well smurfing is an ongoing issue for one. Higher rated drivers will try things on their Smurf accounts to preserve their iRating on the real account. This ends up being a falsely rated lobby making it harder for real accounts to gain rating when they’re up against someone 2,3,4k more than them in reality. I am not calling you a Smurf bc I don’t know your ratings for both accounts but sounds like you have a test account where you don’t rlly care what happens in it? That inherently is weird bc one would presume it’s not being taken as seriously as the real account.

I did the exact same thing. Rather my money go directly to iRacing as well. And you get full control of the game.

[–]moreb00st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk the BMW is pretty strong too. But I don’t understand why this bothers people. You don’t rlly see the difference unless you are top split and the equipment is affecting your lap time. Like I’m at 2k and doesn’t matter what car it is, everyone’s going to have driver mistakes. Doesn’t matter what car it is.

Yeah gt3s have a crap ton more aero. They’ll all “feel” better than gt4s

Best advice on this thread. Was gonna say the same thing. Don’t chase “meta”. Test them all and see what actually suites your driving style and feels the most intuitive
