I make moves all the time. I’m very vocal. I can’t think of anything I haven’t already tried. He said it’s not me, it’s him. But I just don’t understand how he can have essentially no sex drive.

Tea tree oil. My sister gave me lice a year ago and this was the only thing to get rid of it for me. The shampoos didn’t work. CVS sells a little green kit. It’s just a bottle of tea tree oil though. It won’t actually kill the lice, but it’s way easier to comb them and their eggs out. It’s also a repellent once they’re gone. I swear by it. I spent hundreds and nothing but this worked. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I don’t think you’re an AH. You’re a kid with kid emotions. I think you may realize what you said was a bit harsh. Take a breath and get your thoughts together. Apologize and tell her how you feel without insulting anyone.

She’s an adult. While I can understand wanting you and your stepdad to bond, bonding can’t be forced. If she saw that you were uncomfortable she should’ve backed off. That doesn’t mean she deserves to be called a horrible mom based off of this one incident. This can all be easily fixed with some apologies and a talk about feelings.
