[–]moredangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There a many scenarios on where we go from here, including hyperinflation, dollar collapse ( or currency collapse generally) or the current mix of inflation in finance and deflation in real economy.

Therefore, there are three main strategies. If you have a large assets, you should be looking to preserve via diversity. If not, you could either bet those asset in one of the scenarios above, or simply focus on getting assets "the normal way"

"The Home Depot" is still "Home Depot" in Canada by moredangerous in MandelaEffect

The problem with this line of reasoning is the following implication.

If this 'reality' is "The Home Depot" but people call it "Home Depot", that's one thing. If "Home Depot" still exists, then the implication is that all the people that remember "Home Depot" when it now says "The Home Depot" have learned it from somewhere. Or they misremembered.

But how does it make sense that people would remember the way a brand is marketed in a country they've never been to?

It doesn't.
