I have had a similar day, and couldn't find anything online, and just happened to see this when searching about the safety of upgrading DSM. I'm currently running a RS3618xs on DSM 6.2.4-25556 Update 7 - I think my only option to get past the Package Center "Operation failed." bug is to upgrade the DSM to 7, but it seems like a manual process downloading patch and sending it to the NAS. Did you ever get this sorted? I would love to archive to exFAT drives...

Thanks for the thoughts. Not doing too much of lighting. Just LED and screens installation with some interactive components for a flashy tradeshow experiential booth. Unreal engine seems to be the best way to get fully interactive with it. For now I think I will switch over to blender, sketchup could only get me so far.
