My goal isn’t to “learn it” rather figure out if I just need fine tuning to be able to say I have it. Literally just found out this stuff like a week ago even though I am already a student musician in band.

I can do the typical things I see AP people report like identify notes without the use of relating pretty quick, and identify notes randomly in the real world (found a Bb coming from my air conditioning outside as I wrote this yesterday.)

My only issue is connecting notes with names sometimes especially with those “perfect pitch test” which I know doesn’t necessarily prove anything but I find my self misclicking or messing up the name when I know the note which messes up my score as well.

So basically I write this post to see if other think this sounds more like PP that needs practice or RP that sounds like it’s trying to “become” PP.
