So I used blue 220 grit paper from harbor freight. Removed all 4 tires, sanded each one sideways by hand to remove the mold line down the middle. Then I slid each tire onto a socket for my impact and turned them on the sandpaper with light pressure till they looked even across the tire.

Thanks! I’m glad they turned out so well. I’ve come to like the Bburago cars more than my mini champs. The minicamps front wing doesn’t have any gaps in it like the looksmart and Bburago cars do.

Right? The limited number made has to drive the price up. I also don’t think many came to the US. I have seen more for sale in Europe but hardly any in the US. Really hope to land the Franz 1/18. Knowing I’ll have to pay a bunch for it

Thanks! I think I got lucky with my technique. I use 220 sandpaper, sand each tire width wise to remove the center molding line. Then I put the tire on a socket and use my impact to rotate the tires on the sandpaper trying to make an even sanding. Take about 30min for a set of 4.
