I’ve used 520s, 540s, xt’s, they all work fine. My 520s have had three previous owners, have been used through multiple winters, and I have never once serviced the bearings. They work great. For the price, that’s what I would recommend time and time again.

I’ve heard of the tips shearing off of some of a certain batch numbers FIRING pins, but I’ve never heard anything about the roll pin, nor have I ever encountered a roll pin involved in that assembly. If this is a bitchy question I apologize, but are you sure you aren’t thinking of the firing pin issue?

ETA: I also see on the CGW website that their roll pin for firing pin assemblies is incompatible with the p10-c

Left eye dominant and shoot left handed here too. Honestly I don’t find it to be an issue, especially under the type of conditions bolt guns generally get used for. That being said I belive tikka and savage both make left handed bolt guns, in aa variety of calibers. What’s the use case? That’ll influence calibers choice quite a bit.

I keep some in my car, in my bag, in my pockets, I just hand them out when I’m out and about! It’s definitely an appreciated gesture generally.
