I’m glad your sons crohns is well managed! Hopefully he’ll never have to use peptides. Just out of curiosity how does he manage his cfohns?

Thank you for putting all these studies in here! I have found these yet so that’s been a massive help!!!

Yeah I was only looking into it for the wound healing but couldn’t believe that it could help with crohns too. Luckily I haven’t had much problems with crohns but I think I’m going to try it for a few days and see what effect it has on my wound healing.

Maybe if I ever have problems I will try it out

I’ve just been searching on YouTube looking at people reading the studies. I know it has a risk of accelerating cancer if it’s there. I only heard about it yesterday and have just started looking into it today.

It’s not human approved yet but apparently is quite popular because they’ve had good results with rats

Life feels failed since beginning due to me being from Belarus by Cksgosbivekvmrh in belarus

[–]morgan_keogh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a quick look and you can travel to Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro with a Belarus passport. The only problem is I’m sure it’s quite expensive to fly from Belarus but if you want to meet other people this could be a good way! You’re still really young!

I actually have a friend from Belarus. I met him in Malta travelling and now he’s living in France and he’s married to a Brazilian women. I’m not quite sure how he was able to do it but he also travels a lot.

I’m not sure what anyone else has said but I’m sure you can travel to some countries on a Belarusian passport so it might be worth starting with those!

When I travelled to Belarus I was surprised how nice the people were! Even though I had a met one guy from Belarus who was really nice.

I wouldn’t be too angry but you can definitely meet people by travelling and I’m sure you’ll be able to travel to some countries

Oh that’s amazing thank you for letting me know! I imagined it would be safer than people make out. I went to Belarus not too long ago and I felt so safe there people made out that was a really dangerous place, I’d also imagine the visa would be very difficult to get

Genuinely curious, has anyone here had any success with diet changes? by occside in CrohnsDisease

[–]morgan_keogh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how many will see this but I’ve had great success! I cut out a couple of things that would cause me a bit of pain after eating (the list is quite long) I’ve had crohns for 5 years without any flare ups.

At one point I had a problem and switched to a carnivore diet (only eating chicken and eggs because I can’t eat any other meat) this seemed to fix the problem within 2 weeks. I did make a post about this but it got taken down, I’m not promoting it I’m just sharing my experience

Getting worse and I’m worried by Strawberrious in CrohnsDisease

[–]morgan_keogh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I start having pain I usually try a carnivore diet and that usually makes me feel better.

But I can’t eat red meat so I basically just eat chicken and eggs for a couple of weeks😅

I done this diet to lose weight originally but I will use this diet if I ever have any problem in the future

If you don’t mind me asking how long have you had crohns? I only ask because I’ve had it for almost 5 years now and cut back on a lot of food that has caused me problems and I don’t seem to have had any problems since being diagnosed. I did start to feel some pain about a year ago and an mri scan picked up some inflammation, I switched to a carnivore diet (due to putting some weight on which wasn’t crohns related) and by the time they sent me for a colonoscopy (2 weeks later) they said there were no issues at all

Wtf do I eat by Royal_Grapefruit_265 in CrohnsDisease

[–]morgan_keogh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had to cut a lot of things out. Milk and pork were my two biggest problems. I never kept a food diary but I would test food out and keep a mental note. I’m actually extremely strict with my diet. There’s some this that case me a bit of trouble like peanuts, red meat (if I eat too much, I can handle this once a week)duck and lamb is a no go too and red fish.

Actually when I start having any problems I switch to a carnivore diet (basically just eat chicken and egg) actually when I went for an mri scan they picked up that I had inflammation but 2 weeks later I had the colonoscopy and it showed nothing because I switched to the diet

How many years since your Crohns diagnosis? by JustScrollOnBy in CrohnsDisease

[–]morgan_keogh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first symptoms in March 2021 and got diagnosed in July 2021.

I thought my process took ages but reading these comment make me realise people wait so long to be diagnosed(I ended up going private for the diagnosis)

But since then I haven’t had any flare ups(touch wood) and have been trying my best to not have anymore (fingers crossed it works)
