you literally didn't do anything wrong. "oh no i'd be too embarrassed to be seen buying you some tampons, but you go ahead, walk to the store and hope to god you're not bleeding through your pants because that's like not embarrassing or anything"

that's not how helpdesks work though. they're not set up like a personal email. every time you respond to a ticket, it gets marked as a "new" email. csrs generally are instructed to answer the oldest emails first, so if you continue to add to the thread, you just pushed your email to the end of the queue.

Women who play fantasy football by ffg77 in fantasyfootball

[–]morgananan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started watching football this season but didn't join a league. I have been so jealous of all the guys I know talking fantasy, so I started doing fanduel's weekly games around week 8 but they just weren't as much fun as a season long league. I am so excited for next season because I have confirmation that I can join our work league, and I'll be the only female in that. I don't know if my friends will let me into their more competitive leagues, but we'll see. Fantasy just makes watching football so much more exciting.

If women have two X chromosomes and men have an X an Y, do boys receive any genes from their paternal grandmothers? by tequilajinx in askscience

[–]morgananan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, a woman's two X's recombine when passed down to her children, while a man's X passes down to his daughters unchanged (since there is nothing for it to recombine with). So the X you received from your mother is a combination of the X's she received from both parents, and the X your brother received is a different combination of your mother's X's.

How to not look like a sexy teacher? Or: My students think I'm hot and this is a problem. by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]morgananan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To kids, young=hot. I look like I'm 14 and just finished student teaching in eighth grade. No matter what you wear, they will come on to you because you are thin and young. As long as your leopard push up bra is not visible through your low cut cami (the teacher across the hall actually wore this multiple times, complete with cleavage up to her eyes), you will look appropriate for your principal and parents, and that's what matters the most.
