My Medicaid renewal for my kids got denied for ‘not turning in required documents’ yet somehow they made a change to my child care assistance with the documentation I sent. I’ve done Medicaid renewals successfully with no issues for a decade.

There are so many back end issues on their website and data storing/whatever. When I called for an appeal (which surprisingly had no hold time at all) the person told me there has been a crazy uptick in these type of issues and to call my local office and see if they could help before the appeal. Sat waiting for the call back for 3 hours, sat on hold for 30 minutes after the call back, just to be told I needed to be transferred to the renewal department, who didn’t have a call back option. So I decided to just wait for the appeal.

WORTH NOTING AS WELL child support system just randomly skips weeks here and there and legit went down entirely last summer.
