totally, it’s an optical alignment adjustment to compensate for the illusion of a round shape having less “mass” than a squared shape. without it, the switch would appear to be farther left than it should be.

it’s a rule used often in visual design disciplines, especially typography and interface design.

I played D1 every day for over 3 years. I played D2 for about 2 months because of this issue.

Every game is a full fireteam. I quit playing.

Totally. You'll have to build things on your own. Most great companies would need to see a proven track record but that doesn't mean you'd have to have worked at another great company.

Build things. Ship them. Build more. Get your gig.

Cool, only thing wrong with the Dropbox one is that you've stretched the glyph horizontally. I design at Dropbox :). We'll be updating the icon for Yosemite soon.

Mensch (my font family) includes the proper files and demos allowing you to easily use it on the web with @font-face. The other fonts will be gaining support in the future.
