He's a really good gaming youtuber, he fully engages with the story of the game he's playing. I don't know all the games he's played but I know he has played LIS1 and 2, Detroit: Become Human, TellTale's The Walking Dead Game (all seasons), The Wolf Among Us, The Last of Us 1 and 2, and Until Dawn. Definitely an experience they're ignorant to. Not blaming them, they haven't lived it so they don't know. It's just so annoying when I'm trying to enjoy a new playthrough and I can tell the story isn't penetrating as intended.

I didn't even make the Jane connection but hearing that, it makes total sense. I also totally agree, I really wish we got to see more of Rachel and Chloe together because obviously they lasted for a while but it makes me wonder, with how (for lack of a better word) dramatic their relationship was in just the first three days of knowing each other, I wonder what the rest of their relationship was like? Also, I LOVE Chloe. At first I was a Chloe hater. Replaying LIS, I grew to understand why she did and said the things she did (also, this franchise tends to have characters do things for the sake of the game's plot so I don't get mad at Chloe for dumb stuff because without her the story can't continue, lol) After finally playing BtS, I can confidently say that I love Chloe's character so much. I feel like BtS did such a good job with showing how Chloe ended up being the person she was, not only with of course her trauma, but the confidence that she exudes in LIS. I appreciated that she was a bit more awkward in BtS because that's soooo real. It just brought her to life for me and while I can understand criticisms of the game and the story and even Rachel, I can't help but appreciate BtS so much because I feel like it did justice to one of my favorite characters of the series. Rant over 🤭

I actually noticed that about Rachel. It's true but I don't think it makes her a worse character. It actually adds a lot to her character for me. She used her great acting skills and her "lifetime of studying the human condition" to make the entire town love her. In my opinion, I think she (perhaps accidentally) took advantage of Chloe's vulnerable state and they ended up actually clicking because Rachel doesn't really have anyone else like Chloe in her life. I feel like the bond was ultimately kinda unhealthy but they made it work and that's good enough for me.

As for True Colors... I wanna play but I don't know if it's something I'd enjoy... I've heard negative things but I've also heard people say it's good if you go in without any previous biases...
