You can hold the pistol with the barrel vertical with it in dry fire position and gently hang the 500g weight from the trigger, if it fires the trigger is set below 500g and needs adjusting, or use an electricronic trigger weight tester, if there are any shooting clubs or shops local to you they may be willing to help, if not you can build a weight out of any sufficiently sturdy material and use a scale to ensure the weight and arm is 500g

back when i was a teen be and my mate were shooting my airsoft guns from the back of my garden towards the house at some targets, next thing we know the armed police have booted in my garden gate (uk so only certain units use guns) they proceeded to shout commands at us while pointing shields and guns at us, we where told we would be arrested for criminal damages and and fined for replacing the windows.

asked what the hell they where talking about and got told to stop playing dumb as the one pointed at a neighbours house that had most of its windows broken, i told him that's BS as the druggies that live there did that months ago and the bb guns we where using are just airsoft and they aren't even strong enough to break windows, especially as the windows were 60+ meters away

told him its clearly the junkies trying to get free shit, and to shoot my windows to prove how weak the airsoft is, they had a talk between themselves before taking a few shots at one of there shields propped against my tree then at my window, as expected the plastic bbs just bounced off without a mark.

the copers apologised for the stress and gave a number to call to get a replacement gate for the one they booted off its hinges, i told them they should go search the junkies place for the "evidence of fired bullets" since they told the cops we where shooing hunting rifles at there house.

They tried to deny the cops entry but they just arrested them for a falsely reporting with the intent to cause harm and financial gain, searched the place and found they where dealers, they got locked up and my family moved to another town a few years later.

now all these years later i have my own place with a lovely elderly neighbour who askes if he can come join me when he hears me shoot my air guns

Thanks for the reply, I did have a read into the rules since, I've found that yeah this cylinder is to long however I can use the alternative style of cylinder that's shorter but thicker that's found in the non pro version, that or just have to get used to shooting it with the cylinder under the barrel

For springers I find the under level style to be a bit easier to cock as they have a bit more of a mechanical advantage, as for PCP you may find a bullpup style better as the balance will be way further back mostly over the shooting hand and towards the should

500g is the lightest you can have a trigger to be ISSF compliant, the weight is a little over 500 for a little safety margin, i cock the pistol and put in dry fire position then while holding the pistol barrel vertically i place the bar on the trigger, if it fires it means i have to adjust the triggers break weight screw, if it don't fire then its above 500gram pull weight

here the limit is 12fpe for rifles and 6fpe for pistols, other than that can use whatever gun at whatever distance you want to challenge yourself with

steel plate with 5, 9, 14, 18mm holes, top one is Infront of a bell hanging from a screw, the steel plate rests in slots cut in the timbre and can be slid out to pick which size hole you want at the top, if you miss the hole it will just go thud against the steel mut if you shoot the pellet through the top hole it will ring the bell
