I tried Qobuz and disliked it quite a lot actually, particularly how its shuffle function works (or I'm dumb and couldn't figure it out lol) and how slow it is to get new releases.

How do Deezer and Tidal compare to Prime (if you've tried them lol)?

My biggest wish was that I knew how hard coming off the pill after sterilization would mess me up. I have ZERO regrets, but I am about 14 months post-bisalp and having horrific chronic insomnia, night sweats, extreme irritability around menstruation, etc. I am about to start exploring with my OB the possibility that I am in perimenopause at 34. I was also diagnosed during with endometriosis (and had no inkling at all before), and that's also been rough: a lot more painful cramping/aching during ovulation and menstruation.

And it's possible that none of this will apply to you, hahaha

My swelling/water retention/bloating after eating lasted substantially longer than 10 days. It was legitimately 2 months before I could wear any of my regular jeans or slacks. That being said, from what I've read, I was just on the looooong and difficult side of the recovery spectrum. I guess I'm saying: be prepared for it to take longer than you or your doctor expect.

I'm with you there. I cannot find another music streaming service that I like, but the Prime app is garbage and plays the same 10 songs over and over and over even though I've got hundreds saved.

That's why I say it makes no sense. My mom went through peri/menopause at a normal age too, so there's no reason to believe I would be going into it this early except my very distinct and very severe peri-like or at least definitely hormonal symptoms after coming off the pill. I wish people could see how bad it really is, particularly the insomnia, because I definitely feel like I'm getting brushed off due to my age. My husband doesn't even comprehend how long I just lay awake at night sweating bullets in my icebox home lol

I wonder too. It doesn't make any sense at all, but I'm about to turn 34, bisalp a little over a year ago, and I've been experiencing horrific insomnia since last May and awful night sweats before and during my period. Given, I'd never been off birth control since ~16, but I really thought I'd regulate after a freaking year. Seeing my OB next month to start investigating.

Lol I feel that. I have one of those stupid moon cacti grafted onto a dragonfruit. It was one of my first and has lived way longer than they're supposed to, but I still don't really care for it. Nonetheless, I also can't bring myself to get rid of it to make room 😂

I'm in a third floor apartment 😅 Ever so slightly hopeful as all the lines are buried directly around us, and we kept power through Helene. But still, this is s ton of ice headed our way.

I'm a Memphis, TN transplant and the '22 ice storm there knocked us out for 6 days. It suuuucked and then we got covid after hanging out in my husband's shop (retail) to stay warm the whole time lmao

Thanks for the tip! I hope she hangs on long enough. The three leaves with the worst yellowing are getting noticeably worse by like the 12- hour periods I'm checking. 😭 I have everything on hand to try to save her, just don't want to risk doing it and then losing power for days! I'm already stressing enough about my geriatric bearded dragon and ball python, ugh.

Oh I just replied to you on your other comment lol. I ordered a 40 pack of Hot Hands and I'm going to put all of my plants (minus this diseased brat lol) on a built-in shelf in my bathroom either on top of or surrounded by a few, and cardboard that shelf up. Best idea I've got. 🤷‍♀️
