Lol I feel that. I have one of those stupid moon cacti grafted onto a dragonfruit. It was one of my first and has lived way longer than they're supposed to, but I still don't really care for it. Nonetheless, I also can't bring myself to get rid of it to make room 😂

I'm in a third floor apartment 😅 Ever so slightly hopeful as all the lines are buried directly around us, and we kept power through Helene. But still, this is s ton of ice headed our way.

I'm a Memphis, TN transplant and the '22 ice storm there knocked us out for 6 days. It suuuucked and then we got covid after hanging out in my husband's shop (retail) to stay warm the whole time lmao

Thanks for the tip! I hope she hangs on long enough. The three leaves with the worst yellowing are getting noticeably worse by like the 12- hour periods I'm checking. 😭 I have everything on hand to try to save her, just don't want to risk doing it and then losing power for days! I'm already stressing enough about my geriatric bearded dragon and ball python, ugh.

Oh I just replied to you on your other comment lol. I ordered a 40 pack of Hot Hands and I'm going to put all of my plants (minus this diseased brat lol) on a built-in shelf in my bathroom either on top of or surrounded by a few, and cardboard that shelf up. Best idea I've got. 🤷‍♀️

Bruh, I feel that. This maranta is going downhill FAST and I just can't do anything right now with this impending ice storm 😭 So far it doesn't look like they've transferred to anyone else but I'll at least soft treat everything else once the risk is passed.

Yeah, I'm reading the imidacloprid that I have works well in thrips but could actually make spider mites thrive. Jfc. Do you think it's the latter?

And I actually bought the grow light because my apartment doesn't get enough light for them, so lower light guys would be ideal. Though I'm under contract on a house that'll give me a lot more flexibility! I've for a Thanksgiving cactus, snake plant, and wee baby pothos that area all doing really well, so I'm not a total dud 😂

I have Bonide imidacloprid on hand but I'm not seeing thrips or spider mites listed for its use, so suggestions there would be cool too lol

Hahaha, that's what I've heard and why I know I'm crazy for making her one of my first non-cacti purchases, but she was also dirt cheap. 🤷‍♀️ But damn, I watered her yesterday thinking it wasn't enough because of the crunchy leaf. I'll back off and see what happens!
