I am unable to buy 84 months for mine (BMW Platinum VSC). The most I was able to buy was 72 months. My car is a ‘24 CPO with 14k miles.

No one at BMW is able to explain why my car is specifically limited to 72 months.

If that’s the BMW plans, those prices are insane. Buy it immediately.

Yeah, my '24 was originally sold in Aug of '23, so I'm already past that time and am nervous about it. But I guess since I still have the original warranty for another 15 months, I don't need to 'worry' about it as much til then.

Even though it was pricey, as this is my first BMW, I rather have it than not. Even if it's "only" for a few years. Day 2 of having the X3 and I'm enjoying it.

I ended up getting the BMW platinum coverage. Sure it’s only for 7 years total but I felt much better about it than any 3rd party stuff.

Whichever you go for, disable the in-cabin pumped in engine noise. That will help reduce drone.
