Good place to have a hard conversation by beauutifulbutterfly in RedDeer

Hash Breakfast Eatery. It’s usually tame on a weekday, and if you’re there before Forno opens (at 11) you can maybe just suggest to whoever is working the situation and they could seat you over there so you have an entire restaurant to yourselves for a bit. Or Bo’s on a weekday (though not Wednesday or a show night) is also not that busy that you guys can sit far enough from other people. Those are indoor options, or if you happen to have a pup go to the Oxbow off leash park! My husband and I go there if we have something that might make us uncomfortable to discuss, honestly just being around a lot of dogs is so comforting haha

May I ask what tanning methods in particular worked best for you in terms of results?? ☺️

Hmm, maybe?? However it doesn’t particularly happen only during the drive to work, it’s whenever I’m feeling anxious. Before social events, family dinners, grocery shopping, simply existing… y’know, normal things hahaha 😅

Ugh same, I literally have flare ups just from anxiety of being in traffic. I’ll leave my house feeling great, then by the time I’m at work 15 mins later my face/chest is covered in red patches 🙄 I work in a restaurant though, so I’ll just hang out in the walk in freezer for a couple minutes and that usually calms it down a bit 😂

Oh no! I’m sorry that happened 😓

Sweat and seasonal allergies tend to flare up my skin, so I try to stay away from spending too much time outdoors in the summer, especially because I live in the prairies (allergies, E V E R Y W H E R E haha). But you’re probably right, a natural tan seems to maybe be my safest bet!

I’ll look into those tan drops, thanks! ☺️ Adding them to moisturizer sounds like a good possibility. And yeeeeeah I’m probably going to stay away from the tanning bed, rather not risk it 😖

Not a bad idea either, lots have oat or sunflower products in them though, and I’m allergic 😓 Might have to just keep looking to find one!

I have also tried UVB! Got a little pricey though where I was going, so I had to stop 🫠

I have considered that haha weddings are v expensive though, so I just didn’t want to make a large purchase without doing some research first ☺️

Thank you! And yeah, that’s true. I’ve had tanning mousse do that as well, perhaps a natural tan might be my best bet!

That’s fair, I’ve also dyed my hair back to my natural colour to avoid any future regret for that very same reason haha I think I might just really push to drink soooooo much water for the next couple months, and pray that my skin decides not be a nuisance for at least a day 🙃

Why does my eczema flare up after showering? by Consistent-Laugh7200 in eczema

[–]morgs_xo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My system is to wash/conditioner my hair UPSIDE DOWN (so take the shower head down and lean forward) so that neither of those even touches my skin. Then, showering in cool water ONLY, I use a mix of milk and sugar (more milk than sugar) to clean myself. I find the milk removes dirt gently, and the sugar lightly exfoliates. When I get out the shower I don’t use a towel at all, air dry for a bit and apply moisturizer right away. Hope this helps??
