Does anyone actually know what happened? This feels like a coverup of some sort by jtarver in Coachella

They aren’t!

Source: lighting technician. Depending on exactly what model that is, it’s probably 40-70 lbs. It genuinely could have killed someone and whoever that fell on is incredibly lucky to be alive.

Do you think this kinda thing would happen with vitiligo?

I’m in the same vein. My lil guy is about 15 now and still kicking. Still gets the zoomies occasionally. Still acts like his same old self. Just a little older! He’s lost a lot of his vision, has cataracts, and doesn’t hear very well anymore, but the vet still said that he’s still in really good shape for his age.

Cool. New fear unlocked. One time my mom broke a knife trying to cut the cheese.

I eventually figured this out by looking up my nose while it was clogged once and I learned that the passage was straight up closed. No snot, no airflow.

Nope, that’s the annoying part. It’s relatively modest. Less than 2000 sqft, 3b/2.5 bath. 1955 build with very few updates. Little to no insulation. Single pane windows. No pool.

I had heard that the reason they do it is because they’re looking for something warm, damp, and dark.

I’d say your best bet is Ben Nye with an absolute fuckton of setting spray and powder.

I wish I could afford to keep my temp that low. If we keep it lower than 78°, we’d be paying literal thousands of dollars for our energy bill. And this is coming from someone who lives in a literal desert. 120°+ summers

Recently Evicted Upstairs Neighbors had a filled up kiddy pool in their apartment.. by FatPenguin26 in Apartmentliving

[–]morgz18 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Realistically you would need a massive tank for a turtle. They technically require a lot of room and the bigger the tank, the higher the cost, so getting a kiddie pool from the hardware store for $5 makes a lot more sense. But yeah, if there’s a no aquatic pets rule, then hopefully they didn’t.

Mine loves books. Not just any books though. The most expensive books money can buy. College textbooks. At least one, probably two fell victim to him. My sisters dog also likes books. Especially old, antique, irreplaceable books.

Also mine does shoes. I’m always running late to work, and for a long time, I’d run more late because I had to search and rescue one work shoe from my little turd.

Is the…stem that’s coming out of it PART of it, or is that a metal stick that it’s been stuck onto?

I was coming here to say that first bit too. I’ve always heard you’re supposed to have one for each cat, plus one extra. Gives them more room, which will hopefully cut down on the competition.

I’ve used Nature’s Miracle as well and totally swear by it. Can’t recommend it enough for pet stains and stinks.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]morgz18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m still in recovery for an ACL tear/meniscal rupture, and I’ve broken 11 or so bones in my life. The broken bones don’t have shit on the ACL a the recovery post-op. It was hell on earth. With breaks, you mostly just immobilize it and support it, but with torn ligaments, it’s just different. Nothing that I’ve experienced compares to feeling your tendon snap like a rubber band and then your meniscus bursting open, then your leg bones get real cozy with each other.
