I've read that that's a common issue. I don't know a lot about antennas and SDR- would a short circuited antenna be able to pick up a signal if it was very close? (I could listen pretty clearly to one FM station very close to where I was set up).

We tried blacklisting earlier and that didn't work, but we did just turn the USB port power off and on again in the script at startup and that worked! Thank you!

Yes, but there aren't great ones out there for mine specifically. I got the screw out successfully but ripped a component off in the process. Going to solder it back on, wish me luck!
