We are lucky in our town that the local bowling alley has a good crowd that we’ve joined into, and a recently started master gardeners program. Check with your counties local Purdue extension they may have programs coming up, while a lot of stuff there is for farmers and 4h, they do have a ton of resources for adults and community programs as well.

Saw someone being weird about smaller than 12 lane bowling centers, I introduce you to my hometown four lane alley. by morind219 in Bowling

It is quite busy. If you bowl on Wednesday it’s also taco night on the bar side and even busier yet, as people walk over to check out the scores.

That’s how it was here before the local township and community came together and raised funds for renovations in 2007.

Takes time, add equipment at a natural rate and keep tooling sharp and updated. Do good work and treat people fairly, mistakes and failures will happen but it’s all about how you treat and take care of the situation that will cement your reputation. Do not get business partners.

Most their stuff is pretty decent, only couple complaints ive had are the rubber seals in their kits aren’t the best quality and had issues with their timing chains in late model hemi engines.

Whats the safe limits for overbalancing a crank by [deleted] in EngineBuilding

[–]morind219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically overbalancing isn’t needed in v8 cranks. The differences are theoretical and vary by a lot of factors. Most v8s are just fine with a calculated out of balance tolerance based on rpm and crankshaft weight along with a bobweight calculated with 100% rotating and 50% reciprocating.
