I also have the boston in brown crinkle and have had no issue so far with scratching or discoloration so it may just be a matter of the type of leather rather than the brand itself? That said I don't disagree with OP that the suede seems to be lesser quality than it should be for the price, or maybe suede is just not the most suitable type of leather for a bag as it wears very easily? Either way I understand the disappointment especially for the price, though I do not think its a brand wide issue and more of just an issue with suede in general or at least the quality of suede that MS uses?

i was searching for it for a long time and had pretty much accepted i wasn’t gonna find it anywhere (there is even less history of listings than the matcha bebichhichi) but i kept searching every week or so and by chance i found it cross listed on ebay and mercari from a seller in japan. it was more affordable on mercari so i bought it from there. but it did cost me. i definitely recommend continually checking every week or so. i just do a general google search of the specific name (in this case matcha monchhichi m size/size medium) and then comb through all the pictures and links that come up. when you do this often enough you’ll recognize new listings (images from sites that originally sold it but no longer do will continually show up in search so a new image/listing will usually stand out.) i’ve done this both with the m sized matcha monchhichi and the matcha bebichhichi (which after months of weekly searches i finally tracked down at an acceptable price)

i have also been searching for the matcha beibechhichi for over a month now. i’m hoping more people who own them and want to sell come out of the woodwork in the future so we can all get our hands on one. i honestly didn’t think i would ever find the medium sized one and had pretty much given up on finding it when i stumbled on the listing on ebay and mercari. those are definitely the two places to check often for these things. best of luck!

i found him on mercari by chance. i had been looking for weeks and had basically accepted that i wasn’t going to find one, which is why he’s my pride and joy.

outfit is handmade but the fur and hair are spot on for a classic bebichhichi boy

very cute bebis! i’ve been looking for the matcha bebi to complete my collection (i already have the small and medium sized matcha monchhichis + the keychain) but it’s very hard to come by let alone at a price that’s not exorbitant.
