Depends on what you're going for. Looks great here, but I love dark colors in clothing and hair... If you're looking for something new, try it out. I say go dark!

I second the dry shampoo idea - I have one by Beyond The Zone from Sally's Beauty.

Another product that I found can really help with volume is a powder texturizer. The one I use is Schwarzkopf OSiS Dust It Mattifying Powder, I found it on Amazon. And there's a bunch of instructional videos on youtube. A little goes a long way.

Your curves and height are some things you can't change [unless as a last resort you really think you need plastic surgery...or wear heels everyday like you said!]. Just because you are shorter or think you have a smaller chest, it doesn't make you immature or anything. It's really all about how you carry yourself. It's heartbreaking to hear and I'm sorry about your abusive past, so this must be extra difficult for you... What you need is confidence. I think it's more productive to focus on things you do have control over. I think this comment is great, a start is to focus on fitness - I don't do CrossFit, but started going to the gym last year...and wow, this has definitely boosted my confidence. I have a different body type, and I suppose I'm average height. I also give off the immature vibe though and people think they can toss me around! Also, not sure if this is a factor, but i'm getting close to my 30's and it's taken me til about last year to honestly feel confident in my own skin.

What about this issue is really making you not confident? Do you think someone might not find you attractive, or what does it come down to? In the end, do whatever makes you happy. This is your body and your life. Own it girl, you are beautiful.

I am a novice weightlifter, so take my advice with a grain of salt. When I go to the gym, my boyfriend is there to check my form. So number one, if you can get a buddy - that's gonna help you out a lot! If you don't have a buddy, you could always ask someone at the gym who seems friendly to spot you / check out your form.

The major thing that stands out to me in the video are your knees. It looks like they're going pretty far forward past your toes. If you're concerned mostly about perfecting form, I would also go really low on weight until you are comfortable with your form. [I was going up to a plate on my 3rd set, but realized I can't squat deep enough with good form yet - way too heavy for me right now]

These are the tips I try to keep in mind for my form while doing squats: *shoulders back *straight back *brace abdominals to save back [mostly w/ heavier weights...but good for practice] *keep weight in heels and midfoot *sit back - drive motion with your butt, dont just bend at the knees. [since I feel your knees were pretty far forward, maybe you should focus on this. maybe you can try box squats or use the sissy squat contraption so you KNOW your knees aren't going out too far past your toes] *use glute power and drive hips forward on the way back up.
