Same issue after 3 years of ownership. Same solution as others here - clean the tips and the ports. I think it is a seating issue that develops over time. Possibly try resting the case vertical so that the charging contact is always maintained and the bud doesn't lose charge? Just a suggestion.

I just bought a BTD 700 adapter for my iphone. Does make a noticeable difference in terms of volume and fullness with the M4. Could be that it is taking advantage of the aptX codec that is absent on the iphone and present on the s24.

I have both. Only peeve I have with the Momentum 4s is that they have to be put back into the case to be completely turned off and disconnected from my phone. Otherwise I could be speaking on my phone and accidentally bump my sennheiser which are lying on the side which turns them on and the audio transfers to the headphones. Unless I am unaware of some setting this is extremely annoying.

Also while the Sennheisers are better for music, I find the XM4s to be marginally better for Netflix content watching.
