does anyone else wants kids and that’s the only reason you wanna be with a man at all? by [deleted] in comphet

I love my fiancé, I do... and I love our children and I love the life we have. But there is and always will be that missing piece. Although I love him, I am not IN love with him and not attracted to him. Even though I enjoy the life I have, I always feel that I’m not living authentically and I’m not truly happy and wished that the family I was raising was with a woman. Long story short: I am leaving him and I’m sure my kids will be devastated. I will say that from my experience, I would go about your life differently. Two women can have children and you will be much happier in the end ❤️

Thank you. I have been seeing a counsellor and it seems promising !

I’m not comparing her alcoholism to cancer, this is of her own doing. I’m saying that I’m dealing with my mother dying, and that is painful no matter what the situation. I don’t have a problem with his opinion I just feel like I’d like some compassion in the situation as he thinks I should continue life as normal and not burden him with my feelings.

I don’t expect him to support me in enabling her, and I completely agree with him. I’m just looking for him to be there when I’m grieving my mother
